Veronika Decides to Die

Veronika seems to have everything anyone could wish for: youth and beauty, boyfriends and friends, a family that loves her, a job she enjoys. But something is missing from her life. So, on the morning of November 11, 1997, Veronika decides to die. A handful of pills, thinking she would never wake up again... but she wakes up in a hospital, where she is told that, as a result of the overdose she took, she only has a few days to live.
Throughout these pages, we follow these intense days in which, in a heightened state of sensitivity, Veronika discovers emotions she had never allowed herself to feel: hatred, fear, curiosity, love, and even sexual attraction. Little by little, she understands that, at the crossroads between despair and freedom, every moment of life is a choice - and a new opportunity.
