What would you do if you received a call saying: "You have one hour to live"?

These are the only words received in a threatening phone call. Then, they hang up. Surely it can only be a joke… A mistake? A wrong number? Anything but the chilling truth… That someone is watching, waiting, working to steal a life within the space of an hour. But why?

The task of finding out falls to Detective Inspector Helen Grace: a woman with a history of hunting killers. However, this is a case where the killer always seems to be one step ahead of the police and the victims. With no motive, no leads, and no clues — nothing but pure fear — an hour can feel like an eternity…
