Amal, a seventeen-year-old Palestinian Arab, and an Israeli of the same age, Odelia Ainbinder, live in the same city, but separated by a world. In long conversations, in letters and in emails, they get closer and recognize, with great care, what unites them despite all adversities. A difficult friendship emerges: they must overcome mutual mistrust and reach out to each other. Each tries to make the other understand their own position regarding daily life, and both want to discover if they can be together in a peaceful future.
