The Noblemen of the Moorish House

The work tells the story of the noble Negrões de Vilar dos Corvos family, a family rocked by several tragedies living in Casa Mourisca. At the time of the story's most important events, the family has been reduced to three members: D. Luís Negrão de Vilar de Corvos, a "grave, severe, and taciturn sexagenarian," and his two youngest sons, Jorge and Maurício.

Os Fidalgos da Casa Mourisca was the last novel written by Júlio Dinis, published in 1871, posthumously.
