The Seventh Veil

After his mother's death, Julio uncovers a family secret hidden for half a century. Obsessed with this discovery, he embarks on a quest that forces him to unearth obscure episodes of World War II, on a journey through occupied France, a Spain recovering from the Civil War, and an Argentina that served as a refuge for well-known Nazis, following in the footsteps of Jules Tillon, a mysterious man who, like Julio, had to delve into his past to be able to continue living. Jules Tillon is a member of the French Resistance known as Houdini due to his ability to evade danger; he is a hero. But, when the occupation of Paris ends, Jules suffers an attack of amnesia, and his inability to recall the heroism attributed to him tortures him and prevents him from building a future with the woman he loves. Only by discovering who he really is can he confront his ghosts. However, when investigating the enigmas of the past, one runs the risk of discovering more than one wanted to uncover.
