For five centuries, Baskerville Hall has been home to the Baskerville family. When the lord of the manor, Hugo Baskerville, is found dead, with evidence of having been savagely attacked by an animal, the legend arises that the estate is inhabited by a demonic black dog that breathes fire from its eyes and mouth. Everyone fears the terrible beast, and anyone who dares to approach the moor near the hall where the beast reigns dies. And that is what happens to Sir Charles Baskerville, who is found dead. His death is immediately attributed to the dog that spreads terror throughout the vicinity. The new lord of the Hall, Henry Baskerville, Sir Charles's nephew, then decides to turn to Sherlock Holmes to solve the mystery surrounding his uncle's death.

With his usual shrewdness, Holmes sets off for the Hall, accompanied by his inseparable Dr. Watson, to try and discover the mysterious animal and prevent it from killing anyone else, for danger lurks everywhere.
