Blind snow

Siglufjördur is a quiet fishing village, lost in northern Iceland, where everyone knows each other and there's no need to lock doors. Ari Thór Arason, a young police officer at the start of his career, is forced to leave his life in Reykjavik and move to this inhospitable land, where nothing seems to happen.

Unexpectedly, two seemingly unrelated events disturb the village's peace. A young woman is found half-naked in the snow, injured and unconscious, and an old and beloved writer suffers a fatal fall. These events pave the way for an investigation led by Ari.

The incessant snowstorms and the subsequent brutal avalanche end up isolating the village, and the investigation becomes increasingly complex, chilling, and… personal. The officer ends up betrayed by those he trusted and, above all, distressed by the dangerous killer who remains at large. When the village's past is finally unearthed, nothing remains the same in the lives of Ari and the inhabitants of Siglufjördur.
