The girl on the ice

When a young boy discovers the body of a woman beneath a thick layer of ice in a South London park, Detective Chief Inspector Erika Foster is immediately called in to lead the investigation. The victim, a beautiful and wealthy young woman from London's high society, seemed to have the perfect life. However, as Erika begins to investigate her past, she glimpses a connection between that murder and the deaths of three prostitutes, found strangled, with their hands bound, abandoned in the icy waters of other London lakes. Her last investigation went wrong, and now Erika's career hangs by a thread. As she battles her personal demons, she faces a highly deadly killer who gets closer to her the closer she gets to exposing the whole truth to the world.
