Asterix's Odyssey

Once again, Uderzo tackles a contemporary theme for another Asterix adventure. Drama unfolds in the village of the indomitable Gauls when the druid discovers that his crude oil reserves have run out, and the lack of this ingredient leaves the Gauls at the mercy of the Roman legions.
Asterix and Obelix will have to travel halfway around the world to find this precious ingredient, without which Getafix cannot make the magic potion. On this mission, they will have to face one of Caesar's most feared spies: Dubbelosix.
In this second solo album, Uderzo pays tribute to René Goscinny, with the deceased scriptwriter appearing as a Bedouin.
