The Book Thief

It would be with the help of her father, a perfect accordion player, that she would learn to navigate the world of letters, exorcising the ghosts of the past. Over the years, Liesel would continue to steal books and encounter Death, who would always use an unsentimental yet human and poetic tone, drawing the reader's attention to every phrase, every meaning, every word.
