A whim of nature - Sábado Library

The story of Hillela, an unlikely heroine of the liberation movements that changed the African political map in the second half of the 20th century, begins in the South African middle class with a rebellion without a cause, which circumstances ultimately frame within the struggle against apartheid. Estranged from her family and forced into exile, Hillela eventually forges a personality fundamental to African liberation movements, on a journey marked by tragedy and personal overcoming, which takes her to London, Eastern Europe and the USA, until her return to Africa.
