A plane without Her

1980. Following a tragic plane crash in the mountains, rescue teams find only one survivor: a three-month-old baby. But there were two three-month-old babies on the plane, two girls, both blonde with blue eyes. Which one is the survivor? The two families, from completely different backgrounds, violently dispute custody of the girl, and it's up to a judge to determine whether she is Emilie or Lyse-Rose. For one of the girls to be declared alive, the other must be declared dead. In an era before DNA testing, no one knows if the decision made is correct.
Eighteen years later, a private detective claims to have gotten to the bottom of the matter, but is then murdered. All his research is recorded in a notebook he leaves behind. A Plane Without Her is the story of an investigation to discover the true identity of the surviving baby and the effect this tragic story had on the family members who continue to dispute her.
