Bare Land

Riding to a lonely waterhole in the heart of Australian territory, cattleman Lance Dillon discovers Aborigines sacrificing his prized breeding bull in a native ritual. In a desperate effort to save the animal, Dillon attacks the Aborigines, but, severely wounded, he can only flee into the bush, his life hanging by a thread.

His wife Mary and Neil Adams, the brave local police chief, join forces in search of the missing man. Inevitably, the gruelling journey and the wild bush push them towards each other, and soon each of them secretly wishes Dillon will not be found alive...
