Police Plaza, 1 - Corruption in New York

The murder of a young woman in her New York apartment appears to be a "routine" crime, particularly repulsive and depressing... until the investigator begins to discover that Sara Eisinger was nothing like she seemed. Why would a novice travel agency employee have a key that grants her access to one of the city's most exclusive private clubs, one of those clubs where there are no limits to sexual games and where the clientele knows perhaps too much for their own good? Why would her phone book contain numbers that, as it turns out, belonged to an American spy agency?
