The lords of life and death

This book is divided into two parts: the lords of death and the lords of life. Two parts that take us to diverse worlds, in various places on the planet, with the aim of defining this frontier, as short as it is complex, between life and death, between what separates us and what brings us together.
Is death a salvation from pain for those who suffer? Is life merely a stage, a journey of human knowledge?
This story also explores the conflict between the Church and reason, the confrontation between theoretical salvation and the real human feeling of facing one's end.
Euthanasia is a topic always present in human consciousness. How far does the line between the ethical and the logical extend? Where is the line between law and conscience? How far can we have the right to keep someone alive who is, in fact, dead, but only has a living body?
