Narratives that will make us fall into temptation, told by seven prose writers and illustrated by a sculptor.

In case readers have forgotten their childhood catechism classes (if they even had them...), the seven deadly sins are: Pride, Greed, Lust, Wrath, Gluttony, Envy, and Sloth. They are terrible vices, both in their nature and their consequences. But are they really...?
Seven writers decided to each write a story about a sin, and a sculptor decided to embellish the texts. There are stories that begin with a haircut, others that are woven from past memories. There are those set in a courtroom and those that, quite simply, are written from a lie. There are hairdressers, judges, and police officers. There are crimes, passions, and political maneuverings.
These are light, ironic, and novelistic narratives that will easily tempt us to savor them sentence by sentence, sin by sin.

The Authors

Afonso Praça - He was the project's godfather. He took on writing about the only sin he claims not to have committed: Greed.
Alice Vieira - She took on the sin of Gluttony and, in her own words, "the most charming and pleasant of all."
Fernando Dacosta - Sloth couldn't have been in better hands. "Sloth is not the mother of all vices, but of all creativity," the author argues.
Francisco Moita Flores - He wrote about Envy, which he considers "the ugliest of all." "I don't consume it, but I am consumed by envy," the author laments.
Francisco Simões - For the illustrator, he was tasked with nothing more and nothing less than the seven deadly sins, and the task was magnificently accomplished.
Guilherme de Melo - His mission was to write about Lust. And what a mission! According to the author, "it is the sin par excellence and the most delicious of all."
Inês Pedrosa - She was perfectly suited for Wrath. When the author's husband found out, he immediately said: "It's the ideal sin for you."
Mário Ventura - The sin that "fell to him by chance" was Pride, a flaw that, according to the author, he does not practice.
