The Da Vinci Code

Robert Langdon, a renowned symbologist, is in Paris to give a lecture when he receives unexpected news: the elderly curator of the Louvre has been found dead in the museum, and an indecipherable code found next to the body. In an attempt to decipher the strange code, Langdon and a talented French cryptologist, Sophie Neveu, discover, to their astonishment, a series of clues inscribed in the works of Leonardo da Vinci, which the painter ingeniously disguised. Everything becomes complicated when Langdon discovers a surprising connection: the deceased curator was involved with the Priory of Sion, a secret society to which Sir Isaac Newton, Botticelli, Victor Hugo and Da Vinci, among others, had belonged.
