In reality, this barbaric mutilation endangers the lives of young girls who are subjected to it, deprives them of pleasure, and forever destroys their lives as women.

Khady's testimony is that of a child who, at the age of seven, lived through this nightmare and who, once a woman, became aware of the barbarity of this practice.
