I left my heart in Africa

Isabel receives a manuscript under unexpected and mysterious circumstances. Its author, Rodrigo, who disappeared six years ago and was presumed dead by his friends, recounts the experiences and adventures, the facts and emotions, the encounters and misfortunes that shaped his life. Thus, the reader is taken on a journey that, on the one hand, transports them to the wild sixties in Lisbon's high society; and, on the other hand, leads them to the allure of Africa, a mysterious continent that opens up new horizons. While we encounter the difficult and intense guerrilla warfare, we also come across the glamour of an adventurous life, renowned for safaris, skydiving, airplanes, and a daily life on the farms marked by daring. Personal relationships are reflected against a backdrop of a politically moralistic era, marked by traditional values and the colonial war.
