The guardian

When Pedro Stonehead, heir to the entire beach, marries Gloriana, an orphan heiress to nothing but a doll, nobody understands such a strange marriage. Around them are the living: the sisters, Inês and Constança, confined to the house since they were three. Afonso, the father, their guardian. Three cousins with archangel names and a young widowed aunt who abandoned her life to come live on the beach.
